This is my latest artistic conquest. It is an image of Shyly from The Beauty Curve.com It is a watercolor and colored pencil piece on a full sized sheet of Rives BFK paper. It measures about 22”x30”. In this image there are two reclining nudes aside from the main image of Shyly. They are silhouette like images that overlap. One is a figure and the other is a Henry Moore sculpture. Look close and you’ll see them. I love the color in this piece but unfortunately the photograph doesn’t do it justice. I plan on finishing a few more pieces like this in the near future. Take a look at my sketches in my Scraps and you’ll see what’s coming up.

*EDIT* I uploaded a new photo that shows better detail and resolution.

in my scraps I have this picture with the other figures highlighted. I have finished another piece recently but I doubt that it will be posted soon. I have to finish soem more pieces before I can justify spending the money on processing film.

Also I have made a promise to my self not to start any new pieces until I finish the ones I have already started. After that I will be in touch about having you pose for me. Maybe I'll send you some sketches of some poses that I have in mind or something and then you can send mem some photos.. or whatever, hell I don't know but we can work someting out.

By the way I love your new pieces and new model. She is a beauty!

Take care,
Andrew

hey, this one is great....reminds me of the work of spanish painter Bottero....the use of colored pencils and watercolour gives a nice touch to the piece, very challenging visually but in pleasant and intriguing way...

awful as it sounds, I must confess I am a victim of the media and fashion industry...as far as beauty criterias are concerned...I like the ladies slim and fit even though curvacious...

but I just had to fav' this one...color, dynamics attention to detail...hope u don t mind me saying it s your best one in this serie...it has a soul...

This is so incredibly vivid and alive. I love how the energy of the colours and the marks mixes with the serenity of the figure. Beautiful work.
